18x54'' (triptych) original painting
Inspiration
Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Alberta's Rocky Mountain wilderness, this vertical triptych follows the landscape from distant mountain peaks, through dense evergreen forests, to the brilliant turquoise waters rushing between rugged canyon walls.
I wanted to capture more than just the scenery — the energy of flowing water, the vibrant colors of the forest, and that feeling of being completely immersed in nature, far away from the noise of everyday life.
Painted in expressive brushstrokes and bold colours, each panel tells part of the story, yet together they become one unfolding landscape.
For me, painting nature is a way of slowing down, reconnecting with the outdoors, and holding on to those moments that remind us how beautiful and wild our world still is.
